The character generation process is very easy, following along with the character sheet. This eliminates the need for cross-referencing or searching through other books. Also, the rules for play are included in each step of the process, so you learn the game as you make your character!
The system itself is very easy to learn. Any gamer from a novice to a seasoned veteran can pick up this book, read it, and be running an adventure for his friends tonight.
Excessive charts, graphs, tables, and matrices have been eliminated. This game puts the fun back in the role playing experience.
The 3rd Age game book includes 7 exotic races, 10 unique occupations (called Orders), over 90 types of weapons, armors, and shields, over 100 unique magical items, and over 500 magic spells!!

Rigel comes from a doomed city of a forgotten realm called Springfield, Ohio. His beginings here are meager at best and began his eternal campaign at the age of 9 luring the mindless to their unwilling demise. In his teens he met a kindred soul in Arena. It moved in a few doors down and they met through mutual undead. In his early 90's he began to create a 3rd age of magic. He soon after met the love of his eternity in a hut in the land of Derr. Spice as she was known inspired Rigel to create the realms. With heroes and villians abiding in his own stories alongside Arena. A third, the trecherous Da'Flee'Da imput a minimal contribution.

Arena is nothing short of an unwavering stone in the bottom of some magical ocean. It and Rigel met as kindred souls after it moved back from the land of Fornia, introduced by The Sohrian master. Arena and Rigel quested endlessly for centuries until Arena was posseed by a demon of the Gemini and spawned two princesses. Breaking the hold and taking the spawn, Arena fled directly in to the betrayal of Da'Flee'Da and hence exited the realms for 4 eons. One day out of nowhere a nobelman of the hut reconnected the souls and time started once again. Arena now had in tow its life mate Cecol'la. The realms they had buit were already existing and the trecherous Da'Flee'Da was vanquished.
